Do You Like a Good Ghost Story?

The Ridgefield Arts Experience
The Ridgefield Arts Experience integrates musical, literary, musical, and visual arts into an experience for 9-14 year olds. It is organized by Sean McGill, Ridgefield librarian, Rob Melton, owner and director of Opus School of Music in Ridgefield, and Barbara AW Wright, member, Clark County Arts Commission.
The experience arises from The Pine Tree Snake, a story written by local author Gene Presler with illustrations by Harmony Roselli. As Gene Presler reads the story, participants will produce a soundtrack, artwork, and action. The music reflects the spirit of the story; the artwork creates the scene; the acting brings the tale to life. The culmination will be a final presentation of the spirit, enactment, and envisioning of the story.
We are calling for any 9-14 year olds who would like a wonderful experience to participate by contacting Terri Cochran, Director of Community Education for Ridgefield School District at terri.cochran@ridge.k12.wa.us. First 30 applicants are accepted.
