Hello families!

As we head into spring, I'll be starting inventory here at the SRIS/VRMS Library, which includes keeping track of our curriculum materials we've handed out throughout the year.

This week, I will be entering fines for materials still out from Trimester 1. These include:

- Night of the Spadefoot Toads

- Rain Forest Food Chains

- Sleuth

- Text Collection, Volume 1

Night of the Spadefoot Toads is a novel; the rest are thin paperbacks.

I will soon also start entering fines for materials still out from Trimester 2. These include:

- Beyond the Horizon

- Explorers of North America

- Explorers: Triumphs and Troubles

- Text Collection, Volume 2

Again, these are all thin books.

If you see fines for your student, do not panic! You have plenty of time to get these materials returned. The sooner the better, of course, but as long as they are turned in by the end of the school year, the fines will be removed from your account.

If you have any other library materials out, including books from last year from the elementary schools, you can feel free to return those, as well, and I'll get them back where they belong!

For remote students, any materials can be returned at any time in the Library Return bin, which is right outside the main office of the school, under the overhang. The bin should be outside 24/7. For hybrid students, students can give materials to their teacher, who will then get it returned to me.

Your student's math workbooks from this year are yours to keep; they do not need to be returned.

If you have a remote student who hasn't picked up their new materials for Trimester 3, you can contact our front office and we will get those ready for you to pick up.

Also: feel free to remind your students that they can still check out library books this year, whether they are remote or hybrid! See my website for instructions: https://sites.google.com/a/ridgefieldsd.org/vrms-library/

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for all of your patience this school year!
