PTO Membership

We have many wonderful family events because of our dedicated PTO.  However, our PTO enrollment is down this year, and as a result we have fewer volunteers.  A lack of volunteers could result in future family fun events being canceled.  If you are able, please consider joining the PTO by going to https://unionridgepto.weebly.com/ and clicking on "Join Now."  You can also view all PTO sponsored events by clicking on the "Connect" tab. Online PTO Membership

Membership does not mean you will be required to volunteer or donate. Becoming a
member is about keeping connected to our school community. The PTO hosts the Book Fair,
Giving Tree, Mother and Son events, Carnival, Movie Nights, and more. We also help fund
supplies for classrooms and needs throughout the school. As a non-profit, the PTO runs on
donations of time and funds. We do need your help throughout the year and hope you will
help whenever you can, but most importantly we want you to stay connected so that you
and your family can take advantage of all the wonderful things the PTO has to offer!
Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school community while
showing their kids the importance of participating in the larger community.
Not only will the school reap the benefits of your involvement — you will, too. By interacting
with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of your child’s daily activities. You’ll also tap into school life which can help you
communicate with your kids as they grow and change.
