Community Access to Outdoor District Facilities
Community Access to Outdoor District Facilities
Friday, April 16, 2021

Now that Ridgefield School District is offering in-person instruction for all students in grades PreK-12, students are present on all of our campuses, accessing our outdoor facilities for learning and sporting events.  Please know that District facilities are closed for community use Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, to allow for staff and student access. This includes the fields, tracks, tennis courts, and playgrounds.  In addition, pets are not allowed on school campuses.

With the return of school athletic events, competitive sports are now taking place after school hours.  While games are in progress, access to the fields and the track is strictly limited to student athletes and their teams.  Please refer to the 2021 Spring Athletic Schedule to find out when facilities are in use.  Community members are free to use the fields and the track outside of school hours when they are not being used by District athletic teams.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about using the district’s outdoor facilities, please contact Gena Anderson, the District's secretary of student & administrative services at (360) 619-1301 or by emailing
