In an effort to improve attendance rates in all schools, the district will be implementing the following procedure change to better meet the needs of our students. This will be effective starting Monday, January 28th.
Notifying the School of an Excused Absence
Currently, parents are allowed three days from a student’s return date in which to notify the school of an excused absence. In cases where a student misses multiple days in a row, this can be problematic. Therefore, parents will now be required to notify the school within three days of the date of a student’s absence.
