Community Education

We offer recreational and educational opportunities for our Ridgefield School District community. Classes are self-supporting and taught by knowledgeable instructors willing to share their talents. We are always looking for new instructors and class ideas. If you have a talent you would like to share, please contact me to discuss the possibilities.

Please register for classes early!  Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met 5 working days prior to start of class. Avoid disappointment and register early.

Pre-registration including payment is required for all classes. Please do not send registrations and/or payments to your child's school. Schools can not accept them.

Registrations are accepted via:

  1. ONLINE: Online registration is preferred - programs fill quickly and mail in registration may be too late. If you do not have internet access, I  am happy to assist with online registration.

  2. DIRECT DELIVERY to the Community Education office located downtown at the Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center (RACC)

  3. US MAIL: 510 Pioneer Street, Ridgefield, WA 98642

Classes may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met 5 days prior to the first class.  In the event that we must cancel a class, we will attempt to contact you at least two days before the class was scheduled to start, and a refund will be issued.

Late registrations, less than 5 days prior to start of program, are accepted on a space available basis.  There is a $10 late fee added to cost of program.  While we make every effort to provide a shirt (when applicable), we do not guarantee a shirt for late registrations. Shirts and supplies are purchased in preparation for camp and early planning is appreciated.

Notification of your intent to withdraw from class must be received at least 5 working days prior to the first class.  A $15 adminstrative fee will be deducted from all refunds.

If Ridgefield School District schools are closed or cancelled, all Community Education activities will also be closed.
