Christine Fledderjohann

The Ridgefield School District is pleased to announce that Christine Fledderjohann has been named the Interim Assistant Principal at Union Ridge Elementary School.

Fledderjohann is a passionate and experienced educator who is entering her 16th year in public education. She brings a broad background as a middle school math, science, and ELL teacher and specialist. Over the past three years, she has led the LAP reading intervention program and managed multilingual services at Union Ridge, where she has demonstrated a deep commitment to equity and academic success for all students.

She completed her administrative internship in 2024 through City University of Seattle and is enthusiastic about building strong partnerships with families and staff. “I believe in the power of collaboration,” Fledderjohann shared. “I’m honored to serve in this new role and look forward to continuing to support our Tater Tots with passion and purpose.”

Superintendent Dr. Jenny Rodriquez expressed excitement about the recent administrative changes across the district. “We are fortunate to have a strong team of leaders stepping into interim roles to help ensure continuity in our schools,” Dr. Rodriquez said. “Christine’s experience and commitment to student growth make her an excellent fit for this role. These interim appointments provide important stability for our students and staff as we prepare for the school year ahead.”
