The Ridgefield High School ASB is partnering with Pink Lemonade Project once again to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
This year, RHS is hosting Black Out for Cancer, with special “Fight Cancer” t-shirts available for $15 each. All profits from shirt sales will be donated directly to Pink Lemonade Project.
The fundraiser builds on an incredible show of support from the Ridgefield community in 2024, when the campaign raised nearly $4,000. This year, ASB hopes Spudders and community members can come together to surpass that total.
Three RHS athletic events will be dedicated as Black Out for Cancer games:
Girls Soccer: October 13
Volleyball: October 13
Football: October 16
All shirts must be pre-ordered by Sunday, September 13. Shirt pickup will begin Wednesday, October 7, after school at Ridgefield High School. Please note that shirts are presale only and will not be available for purchase at the games.
Spudders, Future Spudders, alumni, families, and community members are encouraged to purchase a shirt, support the cause, and help pack the stands in black during this year’s Black Out for Cancer games!
