Ridgefield High School’s National Honor Society is hosting an online art sale to benefit the Ridgefield Resource Center. The “Unclaimed Art Auction” features pieces of artwork from local professional artists as well as unclaimed student artwork from RHS. The sale is open from Saturday, May 1st through Friday, May 14th. When you purchase a piece of artwork (click to open link), all proceeds will benefit the Ridgefield Resource Center, which directly supports the Ridgefield community.

Typically, Ridgefield High School’s National Honor Society students host an "Empty Bowl" fundraising event each winter. This year’s Empty Bowl event had to be cancelled, but that didn’t deter the students from finding another way to benefit the Resource Center.

“I admire the tenacity of our National Honor Society students in overcoming this challenge,” said Tamara Hoodenpyl, RHS’ Visual Arts teacher and National Honor Society Advisor. “Instead of giving up during a difficult year, they found a creative solution to give back and help their community.”
