Effective immediately, the Ridgefield School District will be enforcing its existing facility use/rental policy and procedures, including adhering to the established fee schedule. This decision is intended to ensure fair and consistent practices in the allocation of our school facilities for various community events and activities.

Fee Schedule Implementation: A detailed facility use fee schedule has been established to cover the costs associated with facility usage, including maintenance, utilities, and overall upkeep. This schedule is applicable to all community groups utilizing Ridgefield School District facilities according to their appropriate classification.
Guidelines Compliance: All community groups are expected to adhere to the guidelines outlined in our facility use policy. These guidelines have been designed to create a safe and positive environment for all users.
Non-Profit Verification: For non-profit organizations seeking discounted rates, we will now require verification of their non-profit status as part of the application process. This includes the requirement that groups have 70% of their membership residing within the boundaries of the Ridgefield School District in order to be counted as an in-district group. These verification steps ensure that our limited resources are allocated fairly and responsibly while supporting organizations that are dedicated to community service.
