At its June 24 meeting, the Ridgefield School District Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Ridgefield School District (RSD) and the Ridgefield Education Association (REA). The updated contract will be in effect from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2028.
The agreement represents a collaborative effort between the bargaining teams to ensure stability and support for staff, students, and families in the Ridgefield community heading into the 2025-26 school year.
“I want to thank our REA partners for their willingness to have hard conversations and collaborate on solutions that meet the needs of our employees and our District as a whole,” said Superintendent Dr. Jenny Rodriquez. “Reaching an agreement well in advance of the upcoming school year is a testament to our shared dedication to our students and staff, and we are grateful for the community’s continued support.”
